Shakespeare & Company bookshop in Paris is world renown with a long cultural tradition and is considered both a literary institution and community. The bookshop first opened its doors in 1951.
For over fifty years, the bookshop has housed numerous writers and hosted readings by published and unpublished authors. Upon entering, you will find yourself in a place Henry Miller described as "A wonderland of books".

Each year Shakespeare & Company attracts broad media coverage in television and radio as well as in the written press, both across France and internationally.
