Thirty of the world's most celebrated writers discussed the genre of Memoir and Biography on the Left Bank of Paris opposite Notre Dame. FestivalandCo is the only literary festival of its kind in the heart of Paris, and perpetuates the long-standing tradition of Shakespeare & Company fostering literary life in Paris.

During the four days of the festival we celebrated the written word with readings (texts read in both French and English), panel discussions, book signings and other cultural events. Most events took place under a marquee in the Square René Viviani directly next to Shakespeare & Company.
